How Subliminal Messages Cause Changes to Beliefs

How Subliminal Messages can Cause ChangeSubliminal messages can cause change in a person’s subconscious beliefs and help to establish new behaviour patterns by replacing existing negative beliefs with more positive versions.

Subliminal changes can be introduced by using visual or audio subliminal messages in the proper manner over a period of time.

The goal behind the use of subliminal messages is to bypass the conscious mind and submit suggestions directly into the subconscious mind without any reasoning or judgment by the conscious mind.

By being exposed to subliminal messages repeatedly, the expected result is that change is experienced at the subconscious level.

Once this change is accepted into the subconscious mind, a person would act differently without necessarily knowing why. They would feel an inclination to choose one action over another because the subliminal messages had been accepted at the subconscious level.

Changing Old Beliefs with Subliminal Messages

Change Old Beliefs using Subliminal MessagesAs an example, a person may have been repeatedly told when they were a small child that “You will never be rich”, “You will never amount to anything”, or similar statements.

These suggestions can become embedded in the subconscious mind and at an early age.

At childhood, it is very easy to influence the subconscious and regrettably, create beliefs that may be carried forward to adulthood and become core values.

These issues should first be addressed if possible by presenting subliminal messages that gradually remove them and replace them with positive new beliefs.

For example, if a person was accustomed to having a lack of wealth they could have several different types of subconscious blocks such as:

  • I will never have enough money
  • I do not deserve wealth
  • I must work hard for any money I receive
  • Wealthy people are evil

Introducing Change with Subliminal Recordings

The concepts held by the subconscious could be replaced with the reverse of those in the list above, such as:

  • I always have more than enough money
  • I am deserving of wealth and abundance
  • Wealth comes to me easily
  • It is ok to be wealthy

Introduce Change with Subliminal MessagesMessages subliminally introduced into the subconscious mind can change the actions that a person takes.

The subliminal messages act to enter new programming into the subconscious mind.

Old beliefs and fears are gradually eliminated and replaced by more positive programs.

The result would be that a person believed, felt and acted differently in contrast to their old patterns.

They would behave differently because the subconscious mind would send back signals to the conscious mind encouraging them to seek financial opportunties, control spending and various related activities.

The signals from the subconscious can surface as feelings, desires or even urges to take or not take certain actions. Once the subliminal messages to introduce change are provided, it is only necessary to embrace them to see the positive results.

Computer Hardware for Creating Audio Subliminals

Computer Hardware Required for Creating Subliminal RecordingsBefore beginning to design and create subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal audio recordings, you should be certain that you have the minimal suggested hardware components to do so.

Most currently available laptop and desktop computers are more than likely to have the capabilities necessary.

Even so, it is still important to review the recommendations provided, and this especially holds true if you are considering purchasing a new computer to focus on designing and building self help audio recordings of any type.

Understanding this before you begin can prepare you and avoid potential problems and frustrations. If you are a power user and have a computer system that is relatively new, then you can likely skip this article and consider reviewing an equally important topic related to software requirements for creating subliminal recordings.

The basic computer hardware requirements necessary to be able to create subliminal audio recordings are grouped in the following categories:

  • CPU and Memory
  • Disk Storage Devices
  • Audio Subsystem
  • External Speakers and Headphones
  • External Recording and Playback Devices
  • CD and DVD Recording Devices
  • Microphones

CPUs and Memory

CPU and Memory RecommendationsRegardless of the computer system you are using, it should have a powerful enough central processing unit (CPU) to be able to handle the tasks involved in building your recordings.

Faster is always better because it will take less time to perform the audio tasks necessary such as extraction, creation, editing, generation, compression and most importantly, mixing.

Multiple processing cores and hyper-threading also help in all of these tasks and a new machine will likely have such features.

This does not suggest that a less recent computer with a slower CPU will prevent you from creating subliminal or other audio recordings. It only means that some of the process intensive tasks involving manipulating audio tracks may take more time to complete.

As a consequence, performing other tasks at the same time may be more difficult to do with a slower CPU. If you have an older computer and patience, then the speed of the CPU may not make a difference to you. However, at a minimum, the speed of the CPU should be at least 2 Gigahertz.

Equally important is having a sufficient amount or random access memory (RAM) in your computer. Having more is always more beneficial and a suggested minimum is 2 or more Gigabytes. You can usually add more memory to your computer system and this will only be to your advantage.

Disk Storage Devices

Disk Drive Storage Hardware for Building Subliminal RecordingsIn addition to being able to quickly manipulate the audio segments of any recording, you will also need to store them on a local or attached disk drive.

How much disk storage space is required depends on how many recording components you build and how large they are.

As a reference, consider any standard audio music CD you may already have acquired. Each minute of uncompressed CD-DA (Compact Disc Digital Audio) at the standard 16-bit stereo sampling rate of 44.1 kHz requires approximately 10 megabytes of storage space.

An average such CD would contain roughly 64 minutes of dedicated music for a raw total of 650 megabytes. The actual amount (about 720 megabytes) is higher because of time gaps between tracks and the use of error correction to compensate for flaws and skips in the physical CD media.

When creating subliminal or other similar recording types, there are different steps involved and each requires storage space. The more disk storage space you have the better, but it is also possible to back them up to either a recordable CD or DVD.

Another option to consider is connecting an additional external USB disk drive or solid state device (SSD) to your computer; the latter is more expensive, but significantly faster when managing large audio files.

Audio Sound System

Virtually all modern day computer systems provide the ability to record and present audio in different manners. If a music CD or movie DVD can be played on your computer to your satisfaction, then you likely have what is required and perhaps more.

Although a simple concern, it is important that stereo capability be provided by the audio subsystem and the ability to be controlled by software if possible. It will likely be necessary to adjust sound system controls so that they are in harmony with the method used in dealing with the audio segments for the recordings.

External Speakers and Headphones

Headphones or External Speakers are SuggestedIf you have a desktop computer with speakers built-in to the attached monitor or imbedded in a laptop computer, you may wish to consider obtaining external speakers.

The reason for doing this is that if the speakers are too close to each other then you may find it more difficult to recognize the differences between the left and right stereo channels during the playback of your recordings.

A quality pair of stereo headphones is also strongly suggested for listening to and verifying the quality of each recording or its components. Having a choice between using separate external speakers and a stereo headset is advisable.

These components are readily available and at reasonable costs and should not be difficult to acquire.

External Recording and Playback Devices

You may need to use an external audio cassette player to import sound tracks into your computer. This may be necessary if you find suitable sound tracks that are only available on audio cassettes.

In order to do this you need an audio cassette player with stereo output and a patch cable to connect these devices to the input of the computer audio system. One end connects to the output of your portable device and the other plugged into the input of your audio sound card (e.g. line-in).

CD, DVD and other Recording Devices

CD and DVD Drives are Recommended for Storing Audio RecordingsMost recent computers have one CD/DVD drive and perhaps a combined or separate CD/DVD burner.

If you wish to create your recordings on CDs then you will need this capability. Two devices (both player and burner) are better than one since it can be easier to duplicate finished recordings on CDs.

You can use blank DVDs of various types to produce your recordings but CDs are a simple choice and most existing computer or audio equipment can play audio CDs if created in the correct format.

Producing a recording that more people are capable of listening to is always a better choice.

Microphones

External Audio Microphones are Suggested for Recording Message TracksAn external microphone of good quality is necessary if you decide to record your own subliminal tracks which contain the subliminal messages.

You can choose a standalone microphone that sits on a desk, a microphone-headset combination, a clip-on microphone and various others.

The most important aspect is that it permits you to comfortably record your vocal messages in a consistent manner.

If you use a desktop microphone, then you will have to maintain a constant distance between it and your mouth.

This may be difficult and uncomfortable for some people to do, especially if it takes 5 minutes or more to create a recording. This also holds true for built-in microphones in laptop computers.

A clip-on or combination headset-microphone allows you to keep this distance constant. Whichever one you obtain, try to perform multiple tests as to its quality, the quality of your voice and the quality of the recording. Your ears should be your best judge, so listen repeatedly until you are satisfied with the result.

To conclude, it is important that your computer system be capable in helping you creating recordings. The computer that you use should have the power to assist you in doing this, but equally important is that you have the knowledge to do this.

Whatever computer system you decide to use in building subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal recordings, it needs to have the power and capabilities to create your recordings in the best way, and ideally in less time.

Subliminal Recordings and Left-Handedness

Create Subliminal Recording Messages for Left-Handed PeopleAny subliminal or similar recording should help as many potential listeners as possible.

But some of us are left-handed and represent ten percent of the population.

Left-handed people usually have different brain structures and this can affect how you create your audio message tracks.

This article discusses the differences in left-handed individuals and how to design your recordings to target them with minimal effort.

Brain Hemispheres and Left-Handedness

Brain Hemisphere Structure and Left HandednessEach individual has two separate brains or hemispheres that have different functions.

In most people that are right-handed, the left side of their brain or hemisphere is better equipped in dealing with language, reasoning, planning and organization.

The right brain or hemisphere is described as being more skilled with visual images, intuition and creative abilities involving art or music.

For left-handed people, the scenario may be quite different. These individuals may have some of those skills reversed.

Their language skills may be centered in the right hemisphere of their brain instead of the left hemisphere.

Some of your potential listeners may have this characteristic and it is important to understand this before building your audio message track.

This can be significant because people that are left-handed may respond differently to the audio messages, depending on how the recording is mixed.

Recording Types and Brain Hemispheres

Creating a stereo recording is the only way to direct audio messages specifically to either the right or left brain of the listener. This is done by building the left channel differently from the right channel. It is usually necessary that the listener be using stereo headphones so that they can perceive the difference.

Building Stereo or Mono Subliminal Audio RecordingsWhen building either a subliminal or supraliminal recording you will have to decide whether to create it in mono or stereo.

It is important to remember that if the final recording is in stereo and mixed from multiple audio tracks, then each of these supporting tracks must also be in stereo.

If you build a paraliminal recording then it must have two channels because the included brainwave track requires this.

This is because the left and right tracks will present different frequencies to each ear in order to achieve the desired binaural entrainment effect.

Since the message and accompanying sound tracks must also be mixed using two audio channels, this provides an opportunity to present different messages or sounds to either the left or right brain.

But a subliminal or supraliminal recording normally does not include a brainwave track and it is not required to create the message or masking sound tracks in stereo. If built using only one audio channel, these tracks will present exactly the same messages or sounds to each ear and to the left and right brains of the listener.

There are both advantages and disadvantages to building subliminal or paraliminal recordings in stereo. These should be completely understood before attempting to do so.

Advantages of Stereo Subliminal and Supraliminal Audio Recordings

The benefits of building these types of recordings with two audio channels are as follows:

  • Ability to direct specific messages to either the left or right brain
  • Allow for different voices to be presented such as male or female
  • Permit alternating tenses and directive or permissive statements
  • Use different sounds to make the masking track sound more interesting

Targeting Voice Messages to Right EarThe most important of these is that you have the ability to design, build and mix message clips that target either the left or right brain of the listener.

This can be of benefit not only to your general listeners, but also those that are left-handed and have the functions of their brain hemispheres reversed.

Another advantage is that you can include different voices for each of the left and right channels of your message track.

In a message track with one channel, you can alternate between using one voice or another over time. But with a stereo message track you can present both at the same time.

This can be important because certain types of people respond better to messages presented in either a male or female voice.

Stereo subliminal and supraliminal recordings also permit you to use the left and right channels to present messages that have been designed with different tenses or applying directive or permissive statements.

In a mono recording using only one audio channel, the sound or masking track may seem less interesting to the ear of the potential listener. An advantage of creating the sound track in stereo is that different sounds can be presented in each channel. The benefit of this is that the audio sound track used in mixing the final recording may sound more interesting to the listener.

Disadvantages of Stereo Subliminal and Supraliminal Recordings

These advantages will have to be weighed against the disadvantages, which are as follows:

  • The final recording will be twice as large in size
  • Building and mixing each track will usually take more time
  • It is not certain that the final recording will be more effective

Computer Disk Storage SpaceWhen recording with two channels, the size of the delivered recording and each of the audio clips created will be twice as large.

This is a tradeoff between the quality you wish to provide and the storage space necessary for the final recording and each of the components.

If you choose to build and mix a subliminal or supraliminal audio recording using two channels instead of in mono, you should understand that there is additional effort involved.

Because you will be creating individual audio clips in stereo and combining them together, you will likely need more time to accomplish this.

It is not certain that creating the message or sound tracks in stereo will be of benefit to your potential listeners.

There is no way to be sure that your target listener is left or right-handed or if they have a certain personality type. Also, it is virtually impossible to determine if they have specific issues that can be addressed by employing stereo messages.

Designing Subliminal or Supraliminal Audio Recordings for All

Subliminal Recordings for Left Handed PeopleYou may decide to build audio message or sound tracks for a subliminal or supraliminal recording in stereo based on the information presented here.

But before attempting this, you should understand that there is a tradeoff involved.

By this it is meant that it is almost impossible to provide any type of subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal recording that helps every potential listener.

The best that you can do when creating your recordings is to compromise.

To conclude, people that are left-handed are not that different than others but should still be addressed in how you create your recordings.

You can build your subliminal, supraliminal or paraliminal recordings so that it helps as many people as possible, but it may require more knowledge and effort to do this.
